Chrome ballooner

 Just some quickie pics of a project that's been sitting around for too long. It's a friend's '85 goose that he traded me for a much sweeter Ridgerunner. These frames are really nothing special but that full chrome thing hits a soft spot on most any bike nut. The down side is that the steerer tube on these bikes is a 21.15 quill. Luckily Harris Cyclery sells a passable quality replacement stem so you aren't stuck with the original mts-100 slingshot and it's matching bars. Prolly not too smart to put drop bars on a bike with a long top tube but it seemed interesting at the moment. Time will tell...still waiting to find a short buddy for this thing.

Le Printemps

The long light has returned and spring is springing. I'm stoked to have so many radical places to go and rad buds to ride with. That pic up top is supposed to be really long, but blogger doesn't like it, and I'm in no mood for fighting.
